Absorption has continued to outpace deliveries this year in the Downtown Kansas City Market. Overall, however, the forecast predicts higher vacancy in this corridor beginning in 2020 due to significant deliveries of properties in the construction pipeline. The biggest question up for debate is how that will affect rental rates in the long term.
